Telluride Balloon Festival (June 3-5, 2022)
If you enjoy hot air balloons, you definitely don’t want to miss the Telluride Balloon Festival! This festival has free admission and is great for families with young kids. They have an informational session at the local intermediate school.
All weekend you can enjoy the sight of hot air balloons in the sky no matter where you are in town. They take off at sunrise at the town park and light up the town’s main street at sunset, so don’t miss it!
Telluride Bluegrass Festival (June 16-19, 2022)
The Telluride Bluegrass Festival has all the goods, from great music to delicious food! The festival is held in the town park. Musicians of all kinds will be playing at the festival and participating in the contest for prizes. Make sure to cheer them on! The music doesn’t stop when the sun goes down—there’s a special NightGrass show that begins after sunset.
The Bluegrass Festival also has free workshops available for general admission ticket-holders, but there’s limited capacity. The workshops are from 11-2 PM Friday through Sunday, so if there’s a workshop that catches your eye show up early to ensure your seat.
Telluride Wine Festival (June 23-26, 2022)
If you love wine and good food, you’ll want to attend the Telluride Wine Festival. Here you can taste local wines and eat some amazing food.
